Bio Sketch
Elmedin Kadric was born in Novi Pazar, Serbia, but writes out of Helsingborg, Sweden. A student of both longer and shorter forms of poetry, and an avid observer of everything else.
The juxtaposition of the symbolic power of an unusual phenomenon, a double rainbow, and the lower socioeconomic status of a beggar forms a thematically and emotionally dialectical relationship between the two parts of the poem. It effectively creates dreaming room for the reader's imagination.
