Bio Sketch
Originally
from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, kjmunro moved to the Yukon
Territory in 1991. She is Membership Secretary for Haiku Canada and an
Associate Member of the League of Canadian Poets. She founded "solstice
haiku," a monthly haiku discussion group, in 2014, and has a leaflet
with Leaf Press.
The contrast, visual, emotional, and thematic (aging vs rejuvenation), between the two parts of the haiku is poignant and thought-provoking.
