L1 sketches a sad death scene that shows one of the devastating consequences of poaching while Ls 2&3 work well as a foreshadowing of the high death rate of climbing Kilimanjaro (a dormant volcano in Tanzania and the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain in the world)
