Bio Sketch
Joyce
S. Greene lives with her husband in Poughkeepsie, New York. A number
of her poems have been published in various tanka journals and tanka
anthologies. She works as a Senior Accountant for an insurance company.
The contrasts/comparisons between the two parts of the poem are compelling, and they reveal two kinds of new life: one is a journey into an unknown world and the other gets acquainted with the people facing the last stage of life.
