Bio Sketch

Amari  Hayashi was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1963. In addition to publishing seven books of poetry, she has written two books of essays.

  1. Ls 1&2 read like the brief description of an establishing shot in a film noir, successfully setting the scene and tone while Ls 3&4 poignantly portray the psychological impact of a casual sexual encounter between strangers.
