Bio Sketch

Barbara Tate is an award winning artist and writer.  Her work has appeared in Modern Haiku, Frogpond, Bear Creek Haiku, Santa Fe Literary Review, NeverEnding Story, Failed Haiku, Contemporary Haibun Online, and Iconoclast, among others.  She currently resides in Winchester, TN.

  1. Evaluated in the context of Buddhism (moon as a symbol of enlightenment)as well as the context of psychoanalysis (dreamwork), the juxtaposition of the two parts of the haiku is thematically significant and emotionally effective.
