Bio Sketch
A retired school teacher, Mark Miller lives in New South Wales, Australia, where he has been writing haiku for many years. His work has been published widely in journals and anthologies, including Acorn, Akitsu Quarterly, Chrysanthemum, Frogpond, Notes From the Gean, Presence, Shamrock, Under the Basho and The Heron’s Nest.
Thematically and emotionally speaking, the quick pace of a one-liner works well for the haiku with a visual focus on the swift movement of a snake.
