Bio Sketch
His
pen silent for 30 years, Peter Jastermsky reemerged 2 years ago as a
writer of Japanese short-form works. His pieces have appeared in Failed Haiku, Haibun Today, The Cherita, KYSO Flash, among many others. Peter and his family live in Southern California, where he works as a licensed counselor.
The visually and emotionally resonant juxtaposition of memories and the pipe makes Peter's haiku effective and relatable.
