Bio Sketch
Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, kjmunro moved to the Yukon Territory in 1991. She is Membership Secretary for Haiku Canada & an Associate Member of the League of Canadian Poets. She has two leaflets with Leaf Press, and co-edited Body of Evidence: a collection of killer 'ku.
L1 sets the scene and mood while the simile employed in Ls 2&3 not only is visually and emotionally poignant, but also adds symbolic depth to the haiku.
