Bio Sketch

Carol Jones lives and works on a farm in one of the South Wales valleys, UK. Although she hasn't the time to get involved in the wider environmental issues, she does document her own environment as she goes about her work.

  1. The contrasts between "golden oldies" and [the sound of] dried leaves/[blown] across a "tin roof" (tonal: nostalgic vs brisk; temporal: linear/continuous; bygone vs cyclic; here and now; ..) make this multi-sensory, "sound and sight" haiku fresh and emotionally effective.
