The comparison/contrast between the cyclic movement of the moon and the human migration is fresh and visually and emotionally poignant.
ReplyDeleteWhat's left unsaid, such as the difficult or often dangerous environment/location as inferred from Ls 2&3, is at least as potent as what's said in this understated migration haiku.
And it might be interesting to do a thematic comparison reading of my haiku below:
