Bio Sketch
Liette
Janelle was born in Montréal and lives in Boucherville, Québec. She
has been writing haiku in French and English for ten years, and her
haiku have been included in numerous anthologies and have received many
awards. She is a member of Haiku Canada and of Gong in France. She loves
to take part in projects and finds herself working with wonderful
writers.
This haiku could be read as the poetic rendering of a low-angle shot of a person facing Mt. Fuji and practicing yoga in its shadow. And L3 effectively enhances the "hai" aspect of the poem, lifting it up a notch.
