Bio Sketch
Besides
writing haiku, Debra Fox enjoys writing short stories and essays, some
of which have been accepted for publication. She is a lawyer and
director of an adoption agency. In her spare time she loves to dance.
She lives just outside Philadelphia with her family.
Visually and emotionally speaking, the prefatory image effectively sets the tone and mood of the poem, and on a second reading, the opening phrase, "dust particles," successfully carries symbolic significance.
