Bio Sketch
Tony
Boehle was born in 1983 in Rochlitz, Germany. Currently he lives in
Chemnitz, Germany and works as a chemist. Since 2012 he has been writing
haiku, tanka, and tanka prose, and is the editor of Germany’s first
tanka journal, Einunddreissig
Tony’s tanka effectively builds, poetic phrase/line (ku) by poetic phrase/line (ku), to an emotionally powerful ending (in the form of a visually stunning simile) that has the most weight and reveals the theme of the burden of undeserved shame.
