Rhythmically speaking, an'ya's one-sentence tanka flows smoothly from beginning to end, and thematically ans structurally speaking, an implied simile, enhanced by the use of "too," is successfully established between "a little rain" and the narrator's loved one, "you," revealing this short-lived ("for a brief time") failed relationship ("simply evaporated").
