Bio Sketch

Elmedin Kadric was born in Novi Pazar, Serbia, but writes out of Helsingborg, Sweden. His first collection, buying time (2017), was published by Red Moon Press.

  1. The statement in Ls 1&2 signals from isolation to connection or exchange, a turning outward, and the nature image of L3 embodies that transition, making a metaphorical shift: a single voice (the river) joins a greater collective (the sea).

    And it might be interesting to do a thematic comparison with the following haiku:

    I dip my feet
    in a river the river
    joins the sea
