A Room of My Own: Borderland Tanka Set

Changing the World One tanka at a Time series

a mother's hands
reach out to her children
through the bars
of a fence that divides
Mexico from Arizona

Note: The first tanka was published in Ribbons, 8:3, Winter 2013
