Bio Sketch

Keitha Keyes lives in Sydney but her heart is still in the Australian bush where she grew up. Keitha mostly writes haiku and tanka and related genres, revelling in the inspiration, friendship and generosity of these writing communities.   1. L1 works well as a context-setting line, and Ls 2&3 enhance the visual and emotive aspects of the poem.

  2. Oh, this is lovely! I imagine the sun warming the poet's hair as it slides down it, taking the chill out of the autumn afternoon. It also reminded me of my late father's hands for some reason. I must remember to stroke my daughter's hair, because that simple act that reveals so much love has stayed with me for years. Thank you for sharing this piece.
