Bio Sketch
Andrzej Dembonczyk lives in Zbroslawice, Silesia, Poland. He is a local government employee. His hobby is Aquaristics. he writes haiku, haiga, tanka and from time to time a short story or theatrical script.
There is no human presence in the poem, and the striking jux. of a destructive man-made thing and sprightly plants with rich connotations sparks the reader's emotions and reflection on the consequences of waging war. This haiku reminds me of one of Basho's haiku on war:
