the door ajar
a little light spills in
to darkness

Bio Sketch
Simon
Hanson lives in rural South Australia close to The Great Southern
Ocean. He relishes these open spaces and the moods of these
environments from which he draws much inspiration. The more he delves
into haiku the more he realises that it is akin to a way of living and
there is always so much more to learn.
A moment keenly captured!
ReplyDeleteThese symbolically rich words/phrases, "door ajar," "light," and "darkness," lift the poem out of the ordinary.
