Bio Sketch
Alexey Andreev was born in 1971 in Novgorod, Russia and graduated from Leningrad State University as a mathematician. In 1997, he created the first Russian haiku e-zine Haiku.ru. His awards include the 2nd prize in the Mainichi Haiku Contest 1997 and the 1st place in the AIHN Japan-Russia Haiku Contest 2013.
A teaching moment is keenly portrayed in Alexey's haiku equipped with the thematically and emotionally resonant juxtaposition.
