Bio Sketch
Steliana Cristina Voicu lives in Ploiesti, Romania and loves painting, poetry, Japanese culture, photography and astronomy. She has won the third prize in 2017 Le Prix Jocelyne Villeneuve, the first prize in the 2015 Fleeting Words Tanka Contest and other prizes. Her works have been published in numerous journals and anthologies.
The delicious taste of L1, "huckleberries" is exemplified in this fresh, visually appealing phrase Ls 2&3, "capturing the night/in the jam jar." And Steliana's fine verb choice makes this haiku emotionally effective.
