Harrison lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia where he practices
a minimalist lifestyle and spends time following trails through parts
of the rain forest. He is a winner of the Akita International Haiku
Award, Japan
L1 sets the tone and mood of the haiku while the visually and emotionally evocative image of Ls 2&3 is symbolically rich, prefiguring the inevitable outcome of L1.
