Bio Sketch
Sharon Rhutasel-Jones is the author of Living by Ear: a Memoir of a Wayward Teacher and The Teacher Who Learned from Cats which
she wrote after retiring from teaching for 52 years. She lives with
her husband and two cats in the village of Los Ranchos, New Mexico.
The visual and symbolic contrasts between fluttering cherry blossoms and the master doing tai chi moves make this culturally rich haiku emotionally effective.
