Bio Sketch
Geethanjali
Rajan teaches Japanese and English in the city of Chennai, India. She
writes prose, opinion pieces, haiku, tanka, haibun and other forms of
poetry. Her writing can be found in various international journals
online and some, in print. She is currently the editor of haiku at
Cattails (UHTS).
L1 sets the theme while the visually and emotionally evocative image of a falling leaf in Ls 2&3 effectively conveys the gloomy mood of the haiku. And "another" successfully adds emotional weight to the haiku.
