Bio Sketch
Elena Naskova lives in Seattle, WA. She was born and raised in Macedonia and immigrated to USA when she was twenty five. Elena writes haiku in an attempt to capture the moment and its meaning. She also writes poetry, short plays and she enjoys painting and photography.
Elena effectively builds her haiku, line by line, to a visually and emotionally poignant ending that reveals the theme of urban poverty. On the second reading, L3 successfully carries symbolic significance.
