Bio Sketch
Brad Bennett has published two collections of haiku with Red Moon Press. a drop of pond (2016) won a Touchstone Distinguished Book Award from the Haiku Foundation, and a turn in the river (2019) was shortlisted for a Touchstone Award. Brad has taught haiku to children and adults for over twenty years.
The interestingly fresh jux. of L1 and Ls 2&3 creates an unexpected yet playful contrast (chickadee call, chickadee-dee-dee vs intermittent sound of spitting out watermelon seeds).
