Bio Sketch
Angelee Deodhar of Chandigarh (India) was an eye surgeon by profession as well as a haiku poet, translator, and artist. Her haiku/haiga had been published internationally .She didn't have her own website.To promote haiku in India, she had translated six books of haiku from English to Hindi.
The buildup to the last line is unexpected yet emotionally or even spiritually convincing; after all, it's a natural bodily response.
ReplyDeleteAnd the concluding verb, which carries the most weight, effectively enhances the "hai" aspect of this lighthearted Zen haiku.

Spiritual practice is not just sitting and meditation. Practice is looking, thinking, touching, drinking, eating and talking. Every act, every breath, and every step can be practice and can help us to become more ourselves.
