Bio Sketch

Marion Clarke is from the east coast of Northern Ireland. Growing up surrounded by the scenic shores of Carlingford Lough, the Mourne Mountains and Kilbroney Forest Park,  she was destined to write haiku.

  1. The implied analogy between the two parts of the tanka is visually and emotionally effective.

    And the right words in Ls 1&2 could be either of the following situations:

    1) The right words for a piece of writing

    My suggtesed solution:

    the muse’s face
    in the "lake of my mind"
    I fish for words
    rippling
    from "our ancient past." :-)
