Bio Sketch
Born in 1970, Agus Maulana Sunjaya is a married man with a lovely wife and 4 beautiful daughters (Yasmina, Zahra, Humaira, and Ghaida). He lives in a rural city of Tangerang, Indonesia and teaches physics and math in a high school.
Unexpected yet evocative L3 makes this haiku about a rural scene emotionally effective.
ReplyDeleteA fine mood shasei (sketch from life) haiku.
And the scarecrow haiku below could be read as a sequel to Agus's:
moon rise --
the scarecrow’s long shadow
in a stubble burnt field

And my scarecrow haiku below could be read as a sequel to Angelee's :

the scarecrow's shadow
blends with mine
