Bio Sketch

Rachel Sutcliffe had suffered from a serious immune disorder for over 16 years; throughout  this time writing had been her therapy, and it kept her from going insane! She was an active member of the British Haiku Society and has been published in various journals including  Prune JuiceFailed Haiku and Hedgerow.

  1. Ls 1&2 set the theme and mood while L3 is the crux, layered with multiple meanings.

    During winter, the sky can be as clear as crystal. This offers a glimpse of hope/certainty. However, When affected by cold weather, lungs are disordered, especially phlegm and respiration, all determining the cancer patient’s survival rate.
