Bio Sketch
Srinivasa Rao Sambangi, a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma, is currently working in a pharma company in Hyderabad, India. His haiku are regularly published in all the leading haiku journals
This is a fine example of haiku noir: setting (Ls 1&3) and the role/implication of a sniffer dog (L2).
ReplyDeleteAnd the visually arresting and symbolically rich image of a blood moon over the seemingly boundless wilderness enhances the mood and atmosphere of the haiku.
This haiku noir reminds me of one of my tanka noir:

of cadaver dogs
echo in smoky twilight
NeverEnding Story, August 10, 2023
FYI: HR stands for human remains.
