Bio Sketch
Barbara Tate is an award winning artist and writer of Native American descent. Her work has appeared in Modern Haiku, Frogpond, Cattails, Whispers, Bear Creek Haiku, Storyteller Magazine, Haiku Journal, Magnolia Quarterly, Restoring the Circle Magazine, Iconoclast and Santa Fe Review, among others. She currently lives in Tennessee.
A sense of suspense/tension is effectively portrayed through the juxtaposed images of a waiting wolf in the shadows and October's full moon ( the time to go hunting in preparation for winter)
