Bio Sketch
Renée Owen’s first full-length collection, Alone on a Wild Coast,
won a Snapshot Press Book Award and a Honourable Mention in the Haiku
Foundation's 2014 Touchstone Distinguished Book Awards. A
psychotherapist and mixed-media artist, Renée enjoys performing her
poetry for live audiences with her musician husband, Brian Foster
The symbolically rich and emotionally poignant juxtaposition between an "earthly body" and "pinned butterflies" opens up an interpretative/mental space for the reader's imagination/emotion.
