Bio Sketch

Rachel Sutcliffe has suffered from a serious immune disorder for over 15 years, throughout this time writing has been her therapy, it’s kept her from going insane. She is an active member of the British Haiku Society and has been published in various journals including Prune Juice, A Hundred Gourds, Frogpond and The Heron’s Nest.

  1. The resonant juxtaposition of these symbolically rich phrases(unfolding "darkness" and the "chill" of the pillow)opens up an emotional space for the reader's reflection on the relationship with his/her loved one.
