Bio Sketch
Lorraine Haig has been writing haiku for 10 years but has loved it for many more. She has a fine arts degree but now spends her free time writing poetry, particularly haiku. She and her husband live in Richmond, Tasmania on a bush block complete with Pademelons and echidnas.
Combined with evocative imagery, Lorraine's use of multiple senses is emotionally effective in this imagistic haiku that portrays an engaging nature scene at twilight.
