Bio Sketch

Jan Dobb lives in Canberra, Australia. She has published three family history narratives, and her short stories have had some success in publication and competition.  Since 2010 however Jan has been captivated by the magic of haiku.

  1. Combined with the use of personification, Jan's bird haiku builds, line by line, to a visually and emotionally effective ending -- two rosellas, the well-socialized, hand-tamed birds with vibrant colors often treated as sociable companions.
