  1. L1 sets the scene while the fresh and evocative image of the silence leaking away in Ls 2&3 makes this mood haiku emotionally effective.

    This fine dawn haiku, armed with a visually and emotionally effective verb, reminds me one of my dawn haiku written from a different perspective:

    false dawn ...
    I listen to the world
    unfurl
