Dan
Iulian, a Romanian haiku poet, currently works as senior researcher in
Bucharest. Since 2011, he has won many awards and honourable mentions
for haiku in English, French, Italian and Romanian languages. His work
was published in various magazines and anthologies in Romania and
abroad.
L1 sets the theme and tone while the collocation of mountain spring (natural resource) and a PET bottle (man-made product)in Ls 2&3 sparks the reader's emotions and reflection on human happiness/memory in relation to the environmental issues of plastic (pollution).
