Marilyn
Appl Walker is a retired teacher. Since 2002, she has received
international recognition with awards and publication in Canada,
Croatia, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. She lives in
the small tourist town of Madison, Georgia, USA.
Marilyn's fine choice of verb makes this canola haiku multisensorily and emotionally effective. And a change in sense (from sight to smell) in Ls 2&3 effectively provides a "scent link" (in Basho's sense of the phrase) to L1, wind "shift."
