Angelee
Deodhar of Chandigarh (India) was an eye surgeon by profession as well
as a haiku poet, translator, and artist. Her haiku/haiga had been
published internationally .She didn't have her own website.To
promote haiku in India, she had translated six books of haiku from
English to Hindi.
Angelee's fine verb choice, "drips," makes a successful transference of the senses, from auditory to visual, and enhanced by her effective use of synaesthesia, these hard C's sounds in L2 form a thematically dialectical relationship with the silence described in L3. And this relationship makes the haiku visually, auditorily, and emotionally effective.
