Bio Sketch
Lucia Cardillo lives in Rodi Garganico (Foggia) Italia with her husband and two sons. She began writing haiku in July 2016 and never stopped since then. Her haiku have been published in various online and print journals, such as The Mainichi, The Asahi, Otata, Failed Haiku, Haikuniverse, THF, Brass Bell, Stardust, Under the Basho, Wales Haiku Jounal, etc.
Juxtaposed with mood-setting L1, a hot and humid night that easily brings swarms of insects, unexpected yet humorous L3 makes this summer haiku emotionally effective.
