穿過針眼
沒有一絲

Bio Sketch

Louise Dandeneau has been writing French prose and French haiku for the past ten years. When a friend introduced her to tanka in early 2018, she began writing these short poems, which came to her in English. She simply fell head over heels in love with this concise and meaningful poetry.

  1. Enhanced by a sewing metaphor, Louise's tanka builds, line by line, to an unexpected yet thematically and emotionally poignant ending that reveals the theme of [not mending] "a disjointed family relationship" ( a "seam" of "your talent'/in "my blood").
