  1. Juxtaposed with visually evocative and mood-setting L1, "another" "autumn," Father's creaking seat in Ls 2&3 is auditorily poignant and infused with symbolic significance. And "still" in L2 adds emotional weight to the haiku.

    What's left unsaid is at least as potent as what's stated in this middle-of-the-story haiku.

    And the haiku below could be read as a sequel to Fatma's:
