Bio Sketch
Gareth Nurden was born in Newport, Wales and has had over one-hundred pieces published in fifteen countries worldwide since starting his Japanese micro-poetry journal.
Technically speaking, this is a fine example of the use of narrowing focus: to start with a wide-angle lens on the world in L1, "copper sun," then switch to a normal lens for L2 and zoom in for a close-up in L3, "daisy," typically known for its white petals and "yellow center. "
ReplyDeleteAnd the contrasts, visual and symbolic, between L1 and Ls 2&3 are fresh and effective.
