Bio Sketch
Keitha Keyes lives in Sydney, surrounded by antique irons and ship models. She enjoys writing tanka, haiku, senryu, cherita and related genres. Her work is published in many journals and anthologies in Australia and overseas.
Enhanced by the cinematic zoom-out technique, a flock of rainbow lorikeets swiftly flying (Ls 1& 2) against the sunset (L3) is vividly alluring, and the concluding word, "fire," which is used to enhances both the red color of rainbow lorikeets and that of the sunset, makes this haiku fresh and visually and emotionally effective.
