This fresh and sociopolitically conscious haiku with a mythological bent ( as implied from Ls 2&3) depicts and also implies three environmental consequences caused by forest fires: soil degradation, L1, severe air pollution, L3, and due to L3, a significant release of greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change.

    And my haiku below could be read as its sequel:

    tongues of forest fires
    there's no Plan[et] B, the rest
    blah, blah, blah ...
