Asni
Amin lives in Singapore and works as a librarian in a school. She
started writing haiku in 2012 and has her works published in Simply Haiku and various other ebooks online.
Two kinds of songs are compared to/contrasted with each other for the purpose of determining the more valuable of the two.
ReplyDeleteAnd the shift from a concrete and auditory image of birdsong to a mental and metaphorical image (of songs drifting downstream in a river of life) adds emotional weight and psychological depth to the poem.
