Bio Sketch
Joyce
S. Greene lives with her husband in Poughkeepsie, New York. A number
of her poems have been published in various tanka journals and tanka
anthologies. She works as a Senior Accountant for an insurance company.
Emotionally speaking, the two juxtaposed parts (Ls 1-3 & Ls 4&5) of the poem resonate well with each other, and Joyce's use of enjambment is thematically effective.
