  1. The contrast between a prairie wolf carefully preparing its birthing place and a teenager's unintended/unplanned pregnancy is thematically significant and emotionally poignant. And Marilyn's use of repetition is visually and emotionally powerful, revealing that birth preparation is such hard labor.
